ELON, N.C. – The Elon University men's soccer team closes out its regular-season schedule with a two-game home stand beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 29, with a match against eighth-ranked Coastal Carolina. Kick is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on the pitch at Rudd Field.

Halloween With The Phoenix
Fans attending the game in their best costume on Tuesday will be provided free candy by the Elon Phoenix staff in celebration of Halloween on this Thursday.
Series History
The Phoenix and the Chanticleers will square off for the fifth time within the past three seasons and 14
th time overall. Elon trails 10-1-2 in the all-time series between the schools that dates back to 1997 and has lost the past four contests. Both teams have met in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament the past two seasons in Coastal Carolina with the Chanticleers prevailing with a 3-0 victory over the Phoenix in last year's opening round match. The Phoenix's lone win against Coastal Carolina came in 2000.
Last Time Out
Elon earned a 3-2 double-overtime win at Davidson on Saturday, Oct. 26, for its first road win of the year during Southern Conference play.

Scouting Elon
The Phoenix (11-4-1, 3-2 SoCon) has been ranked throughout the majority of the season and is in the thick of the SoCon race. Elon currently sits third in the league standings with nine points behind Wofford (12 points) and UNCG (10 points).
Waterman paces the team offensively with 20 points (seven goals, six assists) and is currently second in the SoCon in that category. Brace is tied with Waterman for the team-lead in goals with seven and tied for second overall on the team in points with 15. Senior
Matt Wescoe also has 15 points on the year with four goals and a team-high seven assists.
Between the posts, junior
Nathan Dean has posted a 0.90 GAA, second in the league, and has five shutouts on the year. The Liverpool, England, native has played all but five minutes in goal and has 57 saves.
Powell is now three wins shy of tying Steve Ballard (1978-87) for the most wins in school history. The ninth-year head coach and three-time SoCon Coach of the Year has a record of 90-67-21 at Elon, including five double-digit win seasons.
Scouting Coastal Carolina
The Chanticleers (12-2) are ranked No. 8 in the nation in the latest NSCAA National Rankings and are on an 11-match win streak. Coastal Carolina suffered its last lost on Sept. 6, in a 2-1 setback against then 15
th-ranked Charlotte.
The trio of Pedro Ribeiro (18 points), Ricky Garbanzo (15 points) and Sergio Camargo (15 points) leads the Chanticleers' offensive attack. Ribeiro and Garbanzo are tied for the team-lead in goals with seven, while Justin Portillo has dished out a team-best six assists on the year.
Devin Cook has seen the most action in goal this season for Coastal Carolina with a 0.73 GAA, 36 saves and eight shutouts.
On the Horizon
Elon closes out the regular-season this Saturday, Nov. 2, with I-40 rival and SoCon foe UNCG beginning at 7 p.m. The program will recognize its senior class prior to the match against the Spartans.
