ELON, N.C. – Inclement weather has claimed another contest for the Elon University softball team as rain forced the cancellation of the Phoenix's game at N.C. A&T today, March 5.
 
This is the tenth game that weather has forced either a cancellation or a postponement on the Phoenix's schedule this year.
 
The Phoenix will move on to prepare for its first true home tournament this weekend, the Elon Softball Tournament. The maroon and gold welcomes the field of Central Connecticut State, Hampton and Lafayette to Hunt Softball Park from March 6-8.
