With a lot of new faces and a couple players returning for the 2016 season, we will publish a Q&A leading up to home matches for fans to get a chance to meet players on the Elon University men's tennis squad. This week we feature freshman, Taylor Foote.

Hometown: Duluth, Ga.  
Class: Freshman
 
What has it been like in your first season playing college tennis at Elon?
It's been great! It's rare for a first season to be this special and get along so well, especially with mostly freshman team
 
What has been your moment from this season thus far?
My favorite moment of the season was beating VCU, which was a victory that gave us confidence that we could compete with strong teams.
 
What do you like most about Elon University?
My favorite part of Elon is the people. Making new friends isn't very hard here.
 
Tell us one thing that most people outside of your family/close friends don't know about you.
I enjoy long walks on the beach.
 
If we were to visit your hometown in Duluth, Georgia, where would you recommend us to go and why?
Since I live a couple minutes away from a venue I would take people to a concert.
 
What are your ultimate goals for this season?
My ultimate goals are to win the CAA Tournament and make it to NCAAs
 
If you could have dinner with any three individuals, (personalities, historical figures, fictitious characters, etc.) who would it be and why?
I would have dinner with Ghandi, G Easy, and Hugh Hefner because of their impressive contributions to society
 
If you could be any character from a movie or a TV show, who would you be and why?
James Bond, because he's charming and is a super spy.

The Elon University men's tennis team returns to the courts on Wednesday, April 6, when it squares off against College of Charleston. First serve is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
