ELON, N.C. – The Elon University dance team will be holding tryouts for the 2017-18 squad on Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22, 2017 as well as Friday, March 10.

Friday's tryout will include tumbling, stunt and motion sessions beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday's portion of the tryout will begin at 1 p.m. Both sessions will be held in McFarland Gym on South Campus.

Tryouts are open to any current Elon student as well as anyone who will be enrolling at Elon next year. 

Those trying out should wear solid colors (maroon, gold, white, gray or black). A t-shirt, tank or sports bra, shorts/spandex and cheer shoes are required. Hair and makeup should be "game day ready" for Saturday's tryouts. No jewelry is permitted. Those interested in trying out should contach coach Sandra Bays at sbays@elon.edu with a subject of 2017 tryouts.

Those who can not attend can audition with a DVD. Please email Coach Bays at sbays@elon.edu for further instructions.
