ELON, N.C. – Set for the inaugural men's basketball game inside Schar Center, Elon  University will welcome the seventh-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels on Friday night, Nov. 9. With a sold out crowd of more than 5,000 fans expected, please see the following information about parking and access to Schar Center.
 
PARKING
-Fans looking for a GPS address to Schar Center should use 542 N. Williamson Ave in Elon, N.C.
 
-Fans are encouraged to take University Drive (Highway 100) all the way to N. Williamson Ave. en route to Schar Center to avoid going through Downtown Elon.
 
-Hunt A parking lot is located in front of Schar Center just off N. Williamson Ave. and runs from Hunt Softball Park to the North side of Schar Center. Hunt A spaces are all reserved and assigned before game day.
 
-Hunt B parking lot is located behind Schar Center and contains both a first-come, first-serve lot as well as a contained, 100-space reserved lot. It can be accessed using N. Williamson Ave.
 
-General parking is free for all home Elon men's basketball games.
 
-Should parking lots fill to capacity, overflow parking is located in Ingold Lot on the other side of Williamson Ave.
 
-Handicap parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis in both Hunt B and Ingold.
 
TICKETS
-The ticket office and will call is located at Gate A on the Northeast entrance to Schar Center.
 
-Fans entering Gate B, which is located on the Southeast corner of the building, must already have their tickets in hand. Fans without tickets in hand will be directed to Gate A. The only tickets distributed at Gate B are Player Pass List and men's basketball recruiting tickets.
 
-On Friday night, Gate C on the North side of Schar Center serves as the student entrance only. No public tickets will be scanned at this gate.
 
-Friday's game is sold out. Tickets to Elon's remaining home games are available on elonphoenix.com/tickets for $20.
 
GENERAL INFORMATION
-To assist with keeping the lines moving, be aware that bag checks will take place at all three entrances to Schar Center.
 
The following items will be prohibited from Schar Center:
-Weapons
-Explosives
-Artificial noise makers
-Outside food and beverages
-Smoking and tobacco products
-E-cigarettes
-Umbrellas
-Containers or coolers
-Flags on poles
-Bicycles, skateboards or rollerblades
-Pets (except service animals with proper documentation)
