RICHMOND, Va. – Elon men's basketball junior guard Bryson Cokley has been named to the 2026-27 Preseason All-CAA Second Team, the Coastal Athletic Association announced as part of its preseason awards and predicted order of finish.

A Whiteville native, Cokley earned the recognition after averaging 12.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game during his first season with the Phoenix in 2025-26. After providing a scoring spark off the bench through Elon's first 20 games, Cokley moved into the starting lineup Jan. 24. He averaged 27.0 minutes per game for the season and collected at least five rebounds in 12 contests.

His sophomore campaign featured a career-high 29 points in an 81-78 victory at William & Mary on Feb. 14. Cokley made seven 3-pointers in the win, including the go-ahead shot with two seconds remaining.
