ELON, N.C. – Elon University Athletics has unveiled a number of new official team social media handles with the aim of increasing brand consistency. Launched Monday, June 25, all accounts will look consistent across the board and will be easier for fans to locate and find information. Users who liked or followed the accounts previous have automatically been switched over to the new sport accounts.
The process is in an effort to align social media accounts with the overall Elon Phoenix brand. Fans will notice that handles and usernames are now cleaner, easier to search and more aligned with how the brand is presented in the public space.
Main department Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts are @ElonPhoenix. All athletic program handles now lead with @Elon(Sport).
