ELON, N.C. – Less than 100 days away from the start of the 2018-19 college basketball season and the grand opening of Elon University's new Schar Center, Phoenix basketball season tickets are now on sale. To purchase season tickets, buy online, at the Elon Ticket Office box office located at Schar Center, or call 336-278-6750.
 
Both Elon basketball teams will open their respective regular season home openers against the North Carolina Tar Heels. The Phoenix women host UNC inside Schar Center on Tuesday, Nov. 6, before the men host the Tar Heels on Friday, Nov. 9. Season tickets are the only way to guarantee seats to Elon vs. UNC. Single-game tickets to Elon vs. UNC, if available, will go on sale in November.

The Phoenix men return a veteran squad with five seniors, including starters Tyler Seibring, Dainan Swoope and Steven Santa Ana. Seibring was Elon's team MVP last season and earned second-team All-Colonial Athletic Association accolades. Seibring and Swoope are both members of Elon's 1,000-point club while Santa Ana enters his 2018-19 campaign on the verge of joining them as he begins the season with 913 career points.
 
Coming off back-to-back CAA titles, Charlotte Smith begins her eighth season at the helm of the Phoenix program in 2018-19 with a youthful squad that includes 11 sophomores and first-year players. Elon returns three players that started 16 or more games last season including Saadia Munford, Lexi Mercer and Anna Popovic. Elon also welcomes back Jada Graves for her junior campaign after the Alexandria, Va., native was named last year's CAA Defensive Player of the Year.
