ELON, N.C. – Elon University volleyball is on the road this week with CAA matches at Hofstra and Northeastern. The Phoenix (11-11, 5-3) will play the Pride (12-8, 5-3) this Thursday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. in Hempstead, N.Y. Elon then travels to Boston, Mass. for a 4 p.m. conference tilt with the Huskies (10-10, 4-4) on Saturday, Oct. 26.

Updates for all of Elon's matches will be provided on the team's Twitter account at @ElonVB. Live stats will be available for both matches. Thursday's match will be streamed by Pride Productions, while Saturday will be streamed by Howlin' Huskies Productions.

SERIES HISTORY
-vs. Hofstra: Elon picked up its second-ever win over the Pride with a 3-1 final Sept. 27 at Schar Center. Hofstra is still ahead in the all-time series, 9-2.

-Leah Daniel and Nori Thomas paced the attack with 14 and 13 kills, respectively. Kodi Garcia chipped in 28 assists, Haylie Clark also reached double-digits with 14 assists, and Isabella Seman served four aces. The Pittsburg, Pa. native added 12 digs, Kellyn Trowse followed with 11 digs, and Jenn Krzeminski racked up five blocks (two solo).

-vs. Northeastern: The Phoenix rallied from an 0-2 deficit and earned a 3-2 comeback victory over the Huskies back on Sept. 29. The win cut Northeastern's lead in the all-time series to 8-4.

-Daniel eclipsed 20 kills for the fourth time on the season as she scored 21-of-49 attacks (.327). She added one service ace, five digs, and three blocks (one solo). Thomas followed with nine kills, Garcia contributed 30 assists and a pair of aces, and Clark reached 13 assists. Jordan Gower led the defensive effort with 13 digs, Clark and Garcia followed with seven each, and Elizabeth Coil finished with four blocks.

PHOENIX TIED FOR THIRD MIDWAY THROUGH CAA PLAY
After dropping a close first set, Elon claimed the next three to secure a 3-1 conference victory over William & Mary last Sunday afternoon, Oct. 20 at Schar Center. With the win, the team improved to 5-3 in the CAA midway through its conference slate.

Towson is atop the table with a perfect 8-0 mark and has won 12 matches in a row. The Tigers are currently 18-2 overall. James Madison is second in the league standings at 12-6 (6-2), and Hofstra is even with Elon at 12-8 (5-3).

UP NEXT
Elon has a trip to Williamsburg, Va. next Wednesday, Oct. 30 for the team's second meeting with William & Mary. First serve against the Tribe is scheduled for 7 p.m. inside Kaplan Arena.
