ELON, N.C. – Closing the 2019 regular season, the Elon University football team will visit 19th-ranked Towson for a 2 p.m. game on Saturday, Nov. 23, at Johnny Unitas Stadium. Fans can watch the game live on FloSports with Bruce Cunningham and Gerrard Sheppard on the call. Phoenix fans can also listen to the game over the airwaves on the TuneIn app with

SERIES HISTORY
-The Phoenix and Tigers have met eight times to date with Towson leading the series 6-2. Breaking down the matchup, though, the two teams have split the last four games in the series with three of those four games played at Rhodes Stadium.Â
-Though falling in the 2019 home finale to the Tigers, Elon took the previous meeting with a 33-30 double-overtime victory on Nov. 4, 2017. Before that, it also defeated the Tigers at home 17-13 in 2015.
LAST TIME OUT
-With Maine racing out to a fast start, Elon dropped a 31-17 contest in the home finale on Saturday, Nov. 9.
-Maine jumped out to 28 quick first-quarter points, and while Elon won the last three quarters 17-3, the damage had already been done.
-Defensively, Elon got into Maine's backfield often on the day with six players recording more than 1.0 tackles for loss.
