ELON, N.C. – This weekend sees Elon University volleyball on the road with CAA matches at James Madison on Friday, Nov. 8 and at Delaware this Sunday, Nov. 10.

SERIES HISTORY
-vs. JMU:
 The Dukes (15-7, 9-3 CAA) won this season's first meeting in straight sets Thursday, Oct 10 at Schar Center. JMU enters Friday's match with a 13-0 advantage in the all-time series.

Leah Daniel finished with a 14-dig, 10-kill double-double, the first of her career.
Nori Thomas posted a .240 hitting percentage with a team-high 11 kills, and
Kellyn Trowse followed with a .333 clip and nine kills.
Kodi Garcia and
Haylie Clark added 17 and 16 assists, respectively.
Isabella Seman also reached double-digit digs with 11, while Daniel and
Elizabeth Coil both made three blocks.

vs. Delaware:Â The Phoenix fought back from a 2-1 match deficit and used a late 5-1 push in Set Five to secure a win over the Blue Hens (12-11, 4-8) Saturday night, Oct. 12 in Schar Center. The win trimmed Delaware's lead in the all-time series to 7-4.
-It was a team effort for the maroon and gold as multiple players reached double-digits. On offense, Daniel turned in her second double-double in as many matches with 22 kills and 11 digs. The sophomore added a .250 hitting percentage with two service aces and four blocks. Thomas and
Jenn Krzeminski followed with 10 kills each, Garcia finished with a season-high 33 assists, and Clark contributed 24 assists. Seman turned in a team-high 21 digs, Trowse had 11 digs, and
Natalie Cummins led both teams with eight blocks.
ELON IN THE RANKINGS
In the latest NCAA DI rankings, the Phoenix ranks fifth in the nation in team assists (1,293), sixth in team killls (1,377), and seventh in team total attacks (3,913). Elon also leads the CAA with 1,573 digs and is second in team attacks per set (32.25) and team total blocks (216.0).Â
Daniel ranks ninth in the country in total kills (419), 10th in points (467.0), and 19th in total attacks (1,085). She is also second in the CAA in attacks per set (10.05) and third in kills per set (3.88) and points per set (4.32). Trowse ranks third in the league with 865 total attacks.
PHOENIX FINISHES 7-5 AT HOME
Elon wrapped up its home schedule last weekend with a pair of 3-1 losses to UNCW and Charleston. It was Homecoming Weekend on campus, and Sunday's match against the Cougars marked Senior Day for the maroon and gold as seniors Thomas and Coil were recognized in a ceremony before the first serve. The team finished its home portion of the schedule with a 7-5 record on Robertson Court this season.Â
GARCIA ECLIPSES 2,700 CAREER ASSISTS
The Tomball, Texas native finished with 22 digs and a season-high 13 digs last Sunday against Charleston for her third double-double of the season. The effort helped the junior eclipse 2,700 career assists. She enters the weekend fourth on the program's career leaders with 2,704. Priscilla Awkard (1991-94) is Elon's all-time leader with 3,929 assists, Kate Hart (2002-05) is second with 3,441, and Emerald Zemedkun (1997-00) is third with 2,870.
