ELON, N.C. – Elon University football has added seven more members to its incoming 2019 recruiting class, head coach
Tony Trisciani announced Monday, June 3.
Â
"With this group, we addressed specific needs on the offensive line and at the linebacker positions," Trisciani said. "We didn't sign a first-year linebacker in December or February so it was important that we bring in some talented linebackers that we can develop. With the departure of three four-year starters up front on the offensive line, it was also important to us to continue to build the talent and depth at that position group. And with three of these seven additions, we're excited about adding more North Carolina talent to our football team."
Â
The seven additions brings Elon's total number of incoming student-athletes to 26. Breaking down the entire class, 12 hail from North Carolina with three more from Virginia and two apiece from Georgia and Ohio. The class also has representation from Florida, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Jersey, Maryland and Indiana.
