ELON, N.C.- The Elon University women's basketball team announced its 29-game slate for the 2019-20 season on Tuesday, Sept. 10. Set for 12 home games throughout the season, Elon will host Wake Forest inside Schar Center while making trips to NC State and North Carolina before opening the CAA slate. Elon will also host the 2020 CAA Championships at Schar Center in March while taking aim at its third tournament title in four seasons.
With the announcement of the team's 2019-20 schedule, season tickets for the upcoming season are on sale now. For a limited time throughout the month of September, season ticket holders also have the option to reserve tickets for the CAA Tournament for a discounted rate of just $20. Elon will open its 2019-20 season with a pair of home games against Western Carolina and Appalachian State on Nov. 9 and 13 before hitting the road to face Marist and North Carolina prior to Thanksgiving. Elon will have no time off for the holiday, however, as the Phoenix will host Wake Forest on Nov. 25 before heading to Las Vegas to compete in a pair of games at the Lady Rebel Round-Up.
On the road for the entire month of December and early January, Elon will play eight games in a row away from Schar Center before starting the conference schedule on Jan. 3 against defending CAA Tournament champion Towson. During the road trip after the trip to Las Vegas, Elon will visit NC State before going to Myrtle Beach, S.C., for contests against Newberry College and Coastal Carolina.
Ahead of the conference slate, Elon will host Furman on Dec. 30 to close non-conference action. Throughout CAA play, Elon will host each conference program while hitting the road to face each throughout January, February and March. The Phoenix will also be hosting a Play4Kay game, which is scheduled for Feb. 16 when Elon hosts Northeastern.
Its home slate will conclude with the regular-season finale on March 7 and the CAA Championships will ascend upon Schar Center from March 11-14.
