ELON, N.C. – Elon University women's lacrosse takes on nationally-ranked Virginia Tech at Rudd Field on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m.

THE SERIES
-The Hokies lead the overall series, 3-1.
-Last season, Tech earned a 16-8 win in Blacksburg on March 20, 2019.

ABOUT ELON
-Elon defeated Campbell in its season opener on Saturday, Feb. 8 at Rudd Field, 12-5.
-The Phoenix was led by a pair of goals from Sara Bouwman, Cate Mackel, Cassidy Creighton and Mae McGlynn.
-Gillian Curran also picked up 10 draw controls, tying a program record for most in a game. The number matched Stephanie Asher's 10 against Coastal Carolina in 2018.

SCOUTING VIRGINIA TECH
-Virginia Tech (3-1) enters the matchup ranked No. 22 in the IWLCA Coaches Poll.
-The Hokies cruised past Radford 19-2 on Wednesday, Feb. 19. Sarah Lubnow tallied a career-high five goals and two assists, while Julia Bolte had two goals and one assist.
-Kayla Frank also set a program record in assists, posting eight over the course of the game.
