THE SERIES
Elon leads the overall series, 2-1. The Phoenix earned a 15-5 win in the most recent meeting against the Camels, which took place on Feb 9, 2019.
ABOUT ELON
-The Phoenix finished its 2019 campaign with a 6-12 (3-3 CAA) record, advancing to the CAA tournament for the fourth consecutive season.

Mae McGlynn paced the Phoenix offense last season, totaling team highs in goals (42) and points (45) in addition to ranking sixth in the CAA in goals scored. She tallied a season-high five goals on three occasions against Campbell, Winthrop and No. 23 High Point.
-In goal,
Paulina DiFatta started 17 of the team's 18 games in 2019, setting a new program record for single-season saves (160). She was second in the conference in saves per game (9.41) and third in saves percentage (.480).
-The Phoenix was predicted to tie for fifth with 14 points in the CAA Preseason Poll. Reigning CAA champion James Madison was named the preseason favorite, totaling 35 points and five first-place votes.
SCOUTING CAMPBELL
-Campbell is coming off its fourth straight appearance in the Big South semifinals, posting a 6-11 (3-3 Big South) record in 2019. Â Â
-Sam Carey headlines the Camels, tallying 18 points on 16 goals and two assists, adding 80 draw controls, 25 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers in 2019. The midfielder ranked third in the Big South in draw controls per game (4.71) and sixth in free position goals made (4).
-The Camels were predicted to finish third in the league's preseason coaches' poll. Two-time all-conference selection Carey was also named Preseason All-Big South.
