RICHMOND, Va. – Elon University men's golfer Graham Hutchinson has been named the CAA's Co-Men's Golfer of the Week, as announced by the league office on Thursday, March 12.

A junior from Dallas, Texas, Hutchinson captured the individual title at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate this past weekend with an even score of 213. The effort also helped the Phoenix win the team title by 20 strokes, with the field playing on the No. 8 course. He shot an even 71 in the opening round as he and teammate Max Ferrari were tied for the lead. He then went one-under with a 70 in round two to take over sole possession of the lead, and turned in a one-over 72 through the final 18 holes to win by six strokes. He led the field with 10 birdies and added 34 pars in what marked his first tournament victory. It is also his third Top-10 finish this season after tying for sixth at the Golfweek Program Challenge and tying for fourth at the UNCG Martin Downs Collegiate.

Hutchinson and the Phoenix will next play in the ECU Intercollegiate, hosted by the Pirates at Brook Valley Country Club in Greenville, N.C. on March 16-17.
