Road Warriors: Elon Rolls At Towson, 37-14, For Fourth Road Victory Of Season

Towson, Md. – The Elon University football team led wire-to-wire, defeating Towson 37-14 to earn its fourth road victory of the season. The two programs entered the contest with identical 4-5 overall records and 3-3 marks in CAA Football. With the win, the Phoenix returns to .500 on the season and can finish with a winning record when it hosts Rhode Island Saturday at 2:00 p.m. for Senior Day.

Four of Elon's five wins in 2021 have come on the road, the most wins away from Rhodes Stadium since also winning four road games in 2017.
