ELON, N.C. – Due to weather conditions, the Elon University men's tennis team will host Gardner-Webb on Saturday, Feb. 13 at the Piedmont Indoor Tennis Courts in Greensboro at 3:30 p.m.
 
THE SERIES
-Elon is 7-1 all-time against Gardner-Webb.
-The maroon and gold defeated the Bulldogs in their last matchup 5-2 on April 6, 2019.
 
ABOUT THE PHOENIX
-Elon swept their doubleheader last weekend against North Carolina A&T to improve to 3-1 on the season.
-In match one against the Aggies, Kyle Frankel posted a 6-3, 6-1 victory in No. 1 singles to improve to 3-0 on the season.
-In match two, Sam Dively and Luke Queiroz clinched the doubles point with a 6-4 win over Esteban Lopez and Vasil Ivanov in the No. 2 spot.
-The Phoenix is led by 17^th year head coach Michael Leonard.
 
SCOUTING GARDNER-WEBB
-The Bulldogs enter the match with a 1-2 record on the season. 
-Gardner-Webb recorded a 5-2 victory against Queens University of Charlotte on Feb. 10 for their first win of the season.
-The head coach for Gardner-Webb is Mike Griffith.
