RICHMOND, Va.—The Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) announced on Wednesday, March 10 that Elon's Camilo Ponce has been selected as the CAA Men's Tennis Player of the Week.
 
Elon went 2-0 last week, defeating Furman on March 5 (4-3) and conference opponent William & Mary (5-2) on March 7. In both matches, Ponce competed in the No. 4 singles spot. He defeated Furman's Drew Singerman 6-0, 6-4 before posting a 6-3, 6-4 victory over William & Mary's George Davis.   
 
The Phoenix will be back in action on Saturday, March 13 when it travels to Winston Salem to take on Wake Forest at 6 p.m.
