THE SERIES
-Elon leads the overall series 7-6

ABOUT THE PHOENIX
-Elon comes into the match with a 11-3 record, including an undefeated record at home (9-0).
-Kyle Frankel and Camilo Ponce were named the CAA Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week after recording a pair of wins in the No. 2 position against Longwood and VCU.
-The Phoenix won their last match against Coastal Carolina on March 30, 5-2.
-Jacob Bicknell and Luke Queiroz clinched the doubles point for Elon in the No. 3 spot with a 6-3 victory over Francesco Cori and Guilherme Toresan.
-Akram El Sallaly clinched the match for the Phoenix with a 6-1, 7-6 (7-2) victory over Pyry Hyrkkonen in No. 2 singles.
-Frankel, who is currently ranked #125 in the Oracle ITA Singles rankings, delivered a 6-4, 6-2 victory against #109 Bastien Huon in the No. 1 spot.
-The Phoenix is led by 17^th year head coach Michael Leonard.
 
SCOUTING CHARLOTTE
-The 49ers enter the match with a 10-7 record on the season.
-Charlotte won their last match against Campbell on March 27, 7-0.
