ELON, N.C.-- Elon women's basketball will back on the road to take on UNCW and College of Charleston on Feb. 11 and 13. Tipoff for each contest is set for 7 and 2 p.m.

COVERAGE

THE MATCHUP
-Elon owns a 13-7 all-time record against the Seahawks.
-The Phoenix is on a 14-game win streak against Charleston, holding a 22-14 overall record against the Cougars.

SCOUTING THE PHOENIX
-The Phoenix (10-9, 2-7 CAA) came up short against Towson in its annual Play4Kay game on Sunday, Feb. 6 (52-67).
-Brie Perpignan paced the maroon and gold with 20 points on the day. She has now recorded 20 or more points in five consecutive games.
-Kayla Liles was the other double-digit scorer for the maroon and gold with 15 points. She also had a team-high nine rebounds, two steals and one assist.
-Earlier in the week, Perpignan scored her 1000th-career point against James Madison. She is the first Elon player since the 2017-18 season to score over 1,000-career points (Malaya Johnson) and 25th member of the 1,000-point club in program history.
-In addition to reaching the 1,000-point accolade, Perpignan comes into the weekend ranked 10th in program history in assists (300).
-The maroon and gold is led by 11th-year head coach Charlotte Smith, the winningest coach in program history.

SCOUTING UNCW
-UNCW is on a nine-game losing streak, entering the weekend with a 3-16 (0-9 CAA) record.
-The Seahawks fell to Delaware in its last game on Feb. 6, 62-77. Sierra DaCosta posted her first double-double of the season, posting season-highs in both points (26) and rebounds (12). Dejah Carter also recorded 14 points for a new season high.
-DaCosta comes into the game ranked second in the conference in free throw percentage (.811).
-The Seahawks were tabbed ninth in the CAA preseason poll.
-UNCW is led by former Elon head coach Karen Barefoot.

SCOUTING CHARLESTON
-Charleston is 12-9 (4-6 CAA) on the season.
-The Cougars pulled off a 74-73 upset against Drexel to hand the Dragons their first conference loss of the season and snap their 14-game win streak that led the nation.
-Arynn Eady scored a career-high 27 points, shooting 11-of-13 from the field (.848). That field goal percentage marks the fourth best performance in a game for a Charleston player in its D1 era.
-Anika McGarity also totaled 17 points on 5-of-9 shooting from beyond the arc. McGarity also tallied five assists.
-The Cougars were picked to finish seventh in the CAA preseason poll. Collins was named preseason All-CAA second team, while Eady was tabbed honorable mention.
-The Cougars will face William & Mary on Feb. 11 prior to facing the Phoenix.
-The head coach of Charleston is Robin Harmony.

-The Phoenix will be raising money for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund throughout the month of February. 
-Those interested in donating may do so with a one-time contribution or make a pledge for every free throw made by an Elon women's basketball player during February.
