ELON, N.C. -Â Elon University women's tennis swept both Methodist and Pfeiffer, 7-0, to extend its winning streak to four on Saturday, Feb. 26 at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.

Alison O'Dea led the way for the Phoenix, taking down Kamdyn Balko (MU) 6-1, 6-4 in No. 4 singles and Darby Sherrill (PFU) 6-0, 6-1 in No. 3 singles. O'Dea picked up her fifth win on the season on Saturday and has emerged victorious in three of her last four outings.

Victoria Saldh extended her winning streak to four, making quick work of Megan Kidd (MU) 6-0, 6-1 and Sydney Gray (PFU) 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 2 slot. With the wins, Saldh now sits at 4-5 overall this season.

Shauna Galvin clinched the first match for Elon, defeating Hannah Higgins (MU) 6-0, 6-0 before sweeping Brittany Mills (PFU) 6-0, 6-0 later in the afternoon. Galvin now sits at 3-0 this season with a 2-0 mark in No. 5 singles.

Olivia Archer continued her strong play of late, sweeping both Luciana Forma (MU) and Alison Sloop (PFU) in straight sets 6-0, 6-0. Archer has now won each of her last four singles matches and holds a 2-0 mark in the No. 4 position.

Sibel Tanik won her fourth straight match, defeating Abby Caddick (MU) 6-0, 6-0 in No. 1 singles. With the win, Tanik moved to 4-2 overall this year.

Julie Ball pushed her winning streak to a team-best six matches with her 6-0, 6-1 win over Jill Lawrence (MU). Ball is now 6-2 overall in singles play and holds a 1-0 mark in the No. 3 spot.

Lizette Reding won her second consecutive match, taking down Megan Rekieta (PFU) 6-0, 6-0 in straight sets. Reding now sits at 2-0 in No. 1 singles this season.

Sarah Allen rounded out the singles victories for the Phoenix, finishing Taylor Brashears (PFU) without allowing a point, 6-0, 6-0. It was the first win of Allen's collegiate career.
- The combination of Tanik and Reding dominated in No. 1 doubles on Saturday, taking down Caddick and Balko (MU) 6-1 and Rekieta and Gray (PFU) 6-1 respectively. The duo moved to 5-3 this season and has won three consecutive matches.
-Â Archer and O'Dea didn't allow a point in doubles play, making quick work of Forma and Higgins (MU) and Sloop and Hudson (PFU) 6-0. The tandem clinched the doubles point for Elon against Methodist and moved to a team-best 6-3 (six straight wins) with their win against Pfeiffer.
-Â Saldh and Ball won their second consecutive doubles match, finishing Kidd and Lawrence (MU) 6-0 in the No. 2 position. The combo is now tied for second on the team with a 5-3 mark in doubles this season.
- Allen and Galvin clinched the doubles point for Elon against Pfeiffer, sweeping Brashears and Sherrill 6-0 in the No. 3 position. It was the first win of the year for the duo.
