ELON, N.C. - Elon University men's tennis won its second straight match, defeating UNCG, 4-2, on Thursday, April 14, in Greensboro, N.C. Due to inclement weather the contest was moved indoors 30 minutes prior to the start and only singles were played.
HIGHLIGHTS

Chung-Han Tsai got the ball rolling for Elon in singles play, making quick work of Christopher Johns 6-3, 6-2 in the No. 5 position. The win moved Tsai to 7-5 overall this season and marked his six win in seven outings.

Kyle Frankel clinched the match for the Pheonix, outlasting Nico Grewe 7-6, 7-5 in No. 1 singles. With the win Frankel moves to 11-10 on the season and picked up his fifth win in seven outings.

Nicholas Campbell picked up his 11
th win of the year in the match, taking down Alex Zuckerman 6-4, 6-3 in No. 2 singles. Campbell now holds an 8-6 mark at No. 2 and has won eight of his last 11 matches.

Daniel Martin rounded out the singles wins for Elon, outlasting Hugh Knapp 6-0, 1-6, 6-2 in a three-set battle. The win moved Martin to 11-1 in the No. 3 slot and a team-best 15-4 overall this season.

Elon will prepare for the upcoming CAA Tournament set to begin on Friday, April 22, at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
