ELON, N.C. - Elon University women's tennis fell to William & Mary, 5-2, in its regular-season finale on Saturday, April 23, in Williamsburg, Va.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Olivia Archer continued her strong play of late, outlasting Elisa Van Meeteren 4-6, 6-3, 10-2 in a three-set tiebreaker. Archer picked up her team-leading 16^th singles victory of the season in the match and now sits at 6-0 in the No. 4 position.
- Lizette Reding got Elon on the board in the match, taking down Hedda Gurholt 6-2, 6-4 in No. 2 singles. The win moved Reding to 11-8 overall this season with a 8-4 mark in the No. 2 spot.
- Sibel Tanik fought hard against #116 nationally ranked Mila Saric, winning the first set 6-2 before falling 7-5 in the second set. In the decisive tiebreaker, Saric outlasted Tanik in a narrow 12-10 decision in No. 1 singles.

Elon will prepare to host the upcoming 2022 CAA Women's Tennis Championship beginning on Friday, April 29, at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center on Elon's campus.
