Austin and Young sat down to cover a wide range of topics including starting a foundation, starting out on defense in college after a successful prep career on the offensive side and the way that college football can tie people together. They will help guide an Elon football team ranked No. 25 in FCS Football in the Athlon Sports Preseason Top 25. The Phoenix returns 16 starters (seven on offense and nine on defense) from a team that placed third in CAA Football a year ago. Elon kicks off the season Sept. 3 at Vanderbilt and will host Gardner-Webb on Sept. 17 for the team's home opener at 6:00 p.m.
