CARY, N.C. — Daniel Martin posted his first singles win of the fall and teamed up with
Nicholas Campbell for a thrilling doubles victory as the Elon men's tennis team finished play Sunday at the Duke James Bonk Invitational.
Playing in the A draw doubles consolation final, Martin and Campbell outlasted Duke's Faris Khan and Jake Krug 7-6 (10). Martin then followed that up with a 6-4, 6-1 win over ETSU's Dimitri Badra.
The Phoenix will return to action next weekend when it hosts the Elon Invitational at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
