"Nick Campbell last weekend was struggling a little bit in tournament play but he did not put his head down. Instead, he came back with the right attitude and worked hard. I was happy to see that attitude pay off with him winning the top flight championship with some outstanding play," head coach Michael Leonard said. "I also thought Daniel's game got better with each match, defeating several quality opponents. Looking forward to having a couple weeks at practice before our next tournament."
Elon continues its fall slate at the UNCG Invitational on Oct. 8-9.
