THE RUNDOWN
- Elon played a tight doubles session but ultimately came up short. The Tar Heels won in the No. 2 spot and while the ITA's No. 55 ranked pair of Oskar Antinheimo and Daniel Martin hung tough with the ITA's No. 37 ranked team of Ryan Seggerman and Casey Kania, a late break by the North Carolina duo helped them take a 6-4 win and clinch the doubles point.
- The Tar Heels won the first five completed singles matches in straight sets to pull away from the Phoenix.
- Freshman Oskar Antinheimo rallied from a set behind to win the second 6-3 and force a match tiebreak, which he won 10-4. Antinheimo now has a team-high four singles win this season.
