DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Elon University men's tennis team extended its winning streak to five on Thursday with a 6-1 road victory against Davidson.

With the win, Elon improves to 10-5 on the season and 3-2 away from home. Davidson falls to 5-8 overall with the loss.
 
THE RUNDOWN

• Elon won its fifth consecutive doubles point with a pair of victories at the Nos. 2 and 3 spots.
• After Davidson won No. 1 doubles, Oskar Antinheimo and Veljko Krstic won 6-3 on Court 2 for their third win as a pair this season. 
• Nicholas Condos and Ben Zipay clinched doubles for the Phoenix with a 6-3 victory at the No. 3 position. The duo is a team-best 7-2 on the season. 
• Daniel Martin posted his team-leading 11th singles victory of the season on Court 1 with a 6-1, 6-0 score against Davidson's Alejandro Solares. All of Martin's wins this season have come at the No. 1 spot. 
• Zipay made it 3-0 for the Phoenix with a 6-3, 6-2 result against Sebastian Moran on Court 6. With Zipay's two wins, he improved to 15-3 on the season across doubles and singles. 
• With a 6-4, 7-6 win on Court 2 against William Clark, Nicholas Campbell secured the winning point for Elon. 
• After a Davidson win on Court 4, Antinheimo and Krstic added match tiebreak victories to round out a 6-1 victory.
• Antinheimo, Campbell and Krstic all notched their 10th singles win of the season against the Wildcats. 
• The Phoenix has now won back-to-back road matches for the first time this season.
