Final Spring Football Scrimmage Set For Saturday At 11:30 A.M.

Elon, N.C. – The Elon football team will conclude spring practices Saturday with an open scrimmage beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Rhodes Stadium. The public is invited to attend this free event.

2023 FALL SCHEDULE
The CAA announced kick times for ten of Elon's 11 games this year. Elon's home opener against North Carolina A&T will begin at 6 p.m. prior to afternoon starts for the remainder of the home slate. The entire schedule is listed below.

Saturday, Sept. 9 at Gardner-Webb, 6 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 16 vs. North Carolina A&T, 6 p.m. (HALL OF FAME WEEKEND)
Saturday, Sept. 23 at Campbell, 6 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 30 vs. William & Mary, 2 p.m. (FAMILY WEEKEND)
Saturday, Oct. 7 vs. North Carolina Central, 2 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 14 at Villanova, 1 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 21 vs. Monmouth, 2 p.m. (HOMECOMING)
Saturday, Nov. 4 at Delaware, 1 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 11 at Richmond, 2 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 18 vs. Hampton, 1 p.m.
 
ELON FOOTBALL
Elon went 8-4 in 2022 and 6-2 in CAA Football play, ending the season ranked No. 17 in the country. The team earned a bid to the FCS playoffs for the first time since 2018 and defeated three ranked teams during the regular season, including handing William & Mary its only loss of the regular season. Elon went a perfect 5-0 at home and ended 2022 with a six-game home unbeaten streak, the longest in Rhodes Stadium history.
