Archer, who is in her fifth year with the team, overcame a 5-4 deficit in the second set, winning the final three games to clinch the 69th victory of her singles career. With the victory, she surpasses Frida Jansaker (2011-14), who previously held the record with 68 wins.
"It's an exciting thing that I got the opportunity to be here for a fifth year and break that record," Archer said. "It's something that's going to stick with me for the rest of my life."
The win was Archer's 14th of the season and 11th in a row. Archer has not lost a singles match since Elon's Feb. 11 contest against Clemson.
"I'm so proud of Olivia for reaching this milestone," head coach
Elizabeth Anderson said. "In addition to her tremendous tennis success, she is an amazing leader, outstanding teammate and fantastic student-athlete. We are looking forward to our upcoming matches and to her continuing to finish her career very strong."
With the victory, Elon improves to 14-4 on the season while Radford drops to 1-13 with the loss.
