SETTING THE STAGE

• Elon will be the visiting team for Homecoming for the second straight week as the Phoenix visits Hampton Saturday at 2:00 p.m. inside Armstrong Stadium. Coming off of a win at UAlbany a week ago, Elon is now 2-5 overall and 1-2 in the conference. Hampton is 4-3 and also 1-2 in the CAA following a 59-17 win at North Carolina A&T this past week.
• Hampton is 2-2 at home on the season and Elon is 2-1 on the road. The Phoenix is also 1-0 when leaving the state of North Carolina this year.
• Elon is 2-0 all-time against Hampton with both contests coming in the past two years. Elon won 38-24 at Hampton in 2022 before a 51-17 win on Senior Day a year ago.
• Elon's Chandler Brayboy is the defending Stats Perform National Special Teams Player of the Week. He returned two kickoffs for touchdowns in the 30-14 win at UAlbany becoming the first player in Elon's FCS history to do that.
• Saturday's game will be streamed on FloSports, with Sean Robertson and Terrence Green on the call.
