• Elon and New Hampshire meet Saturday inside Rhodes Stadium for a pivotal Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) contest). New Hampshire, at 1-0 in the CAA, is looking to keep pace with the leaders, while Elon, at 0-1 in conference, looks to get that first league win and climb the standings.
• New Hampshire enters Saturday's game at 3-2 overall coming off of a 28-23 non-conference loss at Harvard Friday night. Elon is 1-4 overall and will look to snap a three-game losing streak. New Hampshire is ranked No. 22 in the latest AFCA FCS Coaches Poll.
• New Hampshire leads the all-time series 6-2, but the teams have split the last four meetings. Elon has won two straight inside Rhodes Stadium, coming up with a 24-10 victory in 2021 and a 30-9 win in 2018. 
• Elon had a week off to prepare for this game and the Phoenix is 4-0 under Head Coach Tony Trisciani during the regular season following a bye.
