Winston-Salem, N.C. – The Elon men's tennis team won eight matches over the weekend at the Wake Forest Invitational, earning seven victories in singles and another in doubles. Alonso Roca went 3-1 in singles play throughout the three days of competition.
 
NOTABLE

• Alonso Roca had a team-best three wins in singles play, beginning with a 6-0, 6-2 victory over North Carolina A&T's Ethan Baly. He then defeated opponents from College of Charleston and UNCG for a three-win weekend.
• Veljko Krstic beat Duke's Alexander Visser and Auburn's Joseph Phillips in singles play for a two-win weekend.
• Jack Curtis had a three-set victory over Furman's John Rado and Charles Pilet beat North Carolina A&T's Ian Pedersen.
• In doubles play, Curtis and Krstic defeated Furman's Sam Fancutt and Nicholas Snyder 6-2.
