ELON, N.C. – The 2025 spring schedule for the Elon University softball team has been announced by head coach Kathy Bocock on Tuesday, Dec. 24. The slate includes two home tournaments along with visits to Hunt Softball Park from Ohio State, UConn, NC State and Virginia Tech.
 
The 2025 campaign begins with the Elon Softball Classic Tournament on Feb. 6-9. The Phoenix welcomes the field of NC Central, Ohio, Ohio State and UNCG to Hunt Softball Park. On Feb. 11, the Phoenix hosts Virginia Tech on its home diamond, its first of two ACC schools coming to Hunt Softball Park this season.
 
Elon's second home tournament, the Phoenix Invitational, takes place on Feb. 14-16. The maroon and gold will take on Penn and Morgan State for its second weekend of the season. On Feb. 18, the Phoenix hosts NC State to close out its 11-game homestand.
 
The Phoenix then travels to the Clemson Classic on Feb. 21-23, facing host Clemson, Marshall and Villanova at the tournament. February ends with Elon heading to North Carolina for a matchup versus the Tar Heels on Feb. 26.
 
On the weekend of March 1-2, Elon will play UNCG and Sacred Heart in a pair of twin bills. The Phoenix hosts the Spartans and Pioneers on Saturday, March 1, before traveling to UNCG to close out the weekend in Greensboro.
 
The CAA season kicks off on March 7-9 as Hofstra visits Hunt Softball Park for a three-game set. Elon then heads to Hampton for its first league series on the road on March 14-16 before facing NC Central in a midweek game on March 18. The Phoenix jumps back into CAA play on March 21-23, welcoming Monmouth.
 
After a midweek home game versus ECU on March 25, the Phoenix travels to Delaware for its next CAA series on March 28-30. The following weekend, Elon hosts College of Charleston at Hunt Softball Park on March 4-6.
 
The Phoenix begins a seven-game road swing at Drexel on April 11-13 followed by a series at Piedmont Triad rival North Carolina A&T on April 18-20. Elon heads to Charlotte on April 22 to finish out its nonconference schedule.
 
Elon closes out its final two weekends of the regular season versus in-state rivals and the reigning CAA tournament and regular season champions, UNCW and Campbell, respectively. The Phoenix hosts the Seahawks in its final home series on April 25-27 before traveling to the Camels on May 1-3.
 
The 2025 CAA Championship Tournament will take place on May 7-10 Campbell's Amanda Littlejohn Stadium in Buies Creek, N.C.
