Pass Selected To All-Rookie Team

RICHMOND, Va. – Freshman Maraja Pass was honored by the CAA on Tuesday, March 12 as the league announced its 2023-24 Women's Basketball Postseason Awards.

Pass received All-Rookie honors, becoming the sixth Elon player to be named to the All-Rookie team in the CAA. The Shelby, N.C. native ended the regular season averaging 8.8 points per game while leading the team and all CAA freshmen in assists per game at 3.7.  Pass has led the team in scoring nine times this season and four times on the glass. Her 108 assists so far this season rank among the top-3 in Elon's Division I era of most assists by a freshman. She has also been named CAA Rookie of the Week three times this year.

Elon opens play at the 2024 CAA Women's Basketball Championship presented by Primis on Thursday, March 14 at the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, D.C. The 9th-seeded Phoenix faces off against CAA newcomer No. 8 Campbell at 12:00 p.m. with the contest streaming live on FloHoops.
