Elon, N.C.- For the first time since 2016, Elon men's soccer has been ranked in the United Soccer Coaches Poll. The Phoenix enters the main soccer poll at number 20 this week after receiving votes in last week's poll.
 
After a 2-0 week including wins over (RV) Grand Canyon and its CAA opener against Drexel, Elon received 46 votes safely putting Elon within the top 25. Elon had been on the outside looking in, receiving the seventh highest vote receiver in last week's poll. 
 
The Phoenix is ranked in the coaches' poll for the first time since 2016, and the ranking of 20^th is Elon's highest in the USC poll since Elon was ranked 19^th in 2015.
 
Elon continues its CAA slate with a road contest against Delaware this Saturday. Kickoff with the Blue Hens will be at 2 pm. The Phoenix will return to North Carolina for a game with Wake Forest next Tuesday at Spry Stadium.
