• Elon and ETSU are both looking for a statement win when the two programs meet Saturday at Rhodes Stadium. Both programs are receiving votes in the latest polls and a victory would help the national resume of the winner. Both teams are 1-2 on the season with a loss to an FBS opponent. The game begins at 6:00 p.m.
• Elon true freshmen are making big impacts early. TJ Thomas Jr. has run for 100+ yards in back-to-back games and is the top true freshman running back in FCS. Kahmari Brown leads all freshmen in FCS with three quarterback sacks, including two last week against Western Carolina.
• Saturday night's game kicks off at 6:00 p.m. inside Rhodes Stadium. ETSU leads the all-time series 2-1, but Elon is 1-0 against the Buccaneers in North Carolina.
• Saturday's game will be broadcast regionally on My48 and streamed on FloSports, with Taylor Durham, Khirey Walker and Hannah Bradey on the call.
