Last Time Out
	- Elon capped one of their best performances of the season with a 2-0 win over Stony Brook. The Phoenix advanced to 2-0 to begin CAA play for the second time in three years.
- The Phoenix and Sea Wolves traded possession early with the first opportunity finding the feet of Ashlee Brehio. A long ball over top found Brehio, but her attempt was directly at the Stony Brook keeper, forcing a save.
- After a couple of attempts from Stony Brook, Lydia Totten found the key strike. After a ball bounced around the top of the 18-yard box, Totten hit the ball on a half volley and found the right post. The ball deflected off the post and into the back of the net to give the Phoenix a 1-0 lead.
- Stony Brook continued to pile on the pressure, but the Phoenix defense would not break. The Sea Wolves forced a save from Katie Bisgrove but couldn't find an answer.
- Elon continued to defend well, forcing shots from the Sea Wolves from outside of the box that gave Bisgrove little challenge.
- Starting the second half, SBU continued to put the ball towards net, but couldn't find the target or the ball was claimed by Bisgrove. Stony Brook put up six shots in the first 15 minutes of the half.
- Elon continued to draw in the pressure, with a number of opportunities to hit the counterattack. That chance finally came when Kennedy Jones found the ball at her feet.
- Jones took the ball from 25 yards out and cutting onto her right foot, sent a curling effort towards the top corner which could the side netting to give the Phoenix a 2-0 lead. Jones' solo effort would give Elon a comfortable 2-0 lead and the Phoenix saw the game out.
