RICHMOND, Va. – Elon junior Grace Gelhaus was named CAA Defender of the Year and was one of five Phoenix to earn all-conference recognition Wednesday as the conference released its postseason women's soccer awards.

Gelhaus was also selected to the All-CAA First Team along with Gabby Hoschek, while Isa Murdock earned a spot on the Second Team and Katie Bisgrove landed on the Third Team. Freshman Miranda Dumornay was chosen for the All-CAA Rookie Team to round out Elon's honorees.

Gelhaus led the Phoenix and all CAA defenders with seven goals during the regular season. Her seven goals and 17 points were both career highs, as she is currently second on the Phoenix in points behind only Murdock. Gelhaus racked up nine points, including four goals over Elon's final five matches. Her four-game winning goals this season led the Phoenix, with three coming in the last five games. The junior logged 1,293 minutes for a back line that conceded the fewest goals in the CAA (12) and registered a conference-best eight shutouts. This is Gelhaus' second straight season making the All-CAA First Team after earning Third Team and Rookie Team honors in 2023. She is the first Elon player to win CAA Defender of the Year since the Phoenix joined the conference in 2014.

Hoschek earned All-CAA accolades for the second straight season after making the Second Team in 2024. The midfielder is third on the Phoenix in both points (16) and goals (5), both of which are career highs. She also has a career-best six assists on the campaign, with four coming in Elon's last six matches. Hoschek scored in the final minute of Elon's CAA opener at Hofstra to help the Phoenix secure a 2-2 draw. Four of her five goals this season have come directly off free kicks. Hoschek has started 14 of 17 games for Elon this season, logging 1,260 minutes.

This is Murdock's first time making an All-CAA team, as the redshirt junior forward accrued a career-high 18 points during the regular season. Murdock had career highs in goals (6) and assists (6) in the regular season and is tied for the fifth most points among CAA players. She earned her first CAA weekly honor on Oct. 20, receiving Offensive Player of the Week after racking up six points in wins over Drexel and Towson. Murdock has scored at least one point in nine of Elon's 17 matches this season and is up to 14 career goals, the second most among active Phoenix.

Bisgrove added to her All-Rookie Team selection a season ago by making the All-CAA Third Team in 2025. The sophomore goalkeeper led the CAA with seven shutouts, which included a stretch of six in a row during nonconference play. She was the first goalie in NCAA Division I women's soccer to reach six shutouts this season and the first CAA goalkeeper to record six consecutive clean sheets since Hofstra's Krystal Robens had seven in a row in 2007. Bisgrove has the best goals against average (.750) and save percentage (.857) among CAA goalies. She was named CAA Defensive Player of the Week three times this season.

Dumornay was tabbed with All-Rookie honors after making seven starts in 14 appearances during her freshman campaign. The midfielder scored her first career goal in Elon's CAA win over Towson. She also had an assist in Elon's conference match against William & Mary. Dumornay started four of Elon's final five matches to help the Phoenix secure a spot in the CAA Tournament.

The Phoenix opens postseason play Thursday in the quarterfinals of the CAA Tournament. Elon will face William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, at 7 p.m.
