ELON – The Elon men's tennis team unveiled its 2026 spring schedule Thursday. The Phoenix will play 20 regular season matches, including 10 at home at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
The Phoenix kicks off its spring on Jan. 10 against Saint Joseph's at Wake Forest before heading to Durham to face Duke on Jan. 16. Elon will host James Madison in its home opener on Jan. 24.
Elon will face its first CAA opponent of the season on Jan. 26, traveling south to take on College of Charleston. The Phoenix then returns home to play UNC Asheville on Feb. 6 before a short road trip to take on UNCG on Feb. 8. After returning home for a Feb. 14 clash against Charlotte, Elon hits the road for a match at NC State on Feb. 21.
The Phoenix will begin a season-long four-match homestand on Feb. 27 against Florida Gulf Coast. Elon then hosts Georgia State on March 7 and South Carolina State on March 8 before concluding the stretch on March 15 versus Coastal Carolina.
A trip to face Clemson, Elon's third ACC opponent of the spring, is next on deck on March 15. The Phoenix then heads to Virginia for matches against CAA rival William & Mary (March 20) and VCU (March 21).
Elon returns home on March 27 for a match against Georgia Southern before hosting Old Dominion on March 29. The Phoenix will then welcome CAA opponent Campbell to the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center on April 2.
The Phoenix closes out its regular season away from home, starting with a road match at Liberty on April 4. Elon will then face St. John's on neutral courts in Camden, South Carolina, on April 13 in its regular season finale.
Elon will compete in the CAA Tournament, which William & Mary is hosting, from April 17-19. The Phoenix is coming off a championship match appearance last spring, a campaign that saw Elon go 11-8 in head coach
Maciek Sykut's first season.
