Simrin Carlsen of the Elon volleyball team was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday.
Carlsen earned her fourth career CSC Academic All-District honor and her first with the Phoenix. The Edison, New Jersey, native led the Maroon and Gold with 217 total kills while ranking third on the team in points per set (2.63) and fourth in kills per set (2.63). She also paced the squad defensively with 298 digs and 3.14 digs per set.
Carlsen recorded double-digit kills in 15 matches, including a season-high 16 kills against North Carolina A&T on Oct. 25. She also had nine double-doubles on the year to lead the Phoenix.
The 2025–26 CSC Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's volleyball honorees in four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
