Cameron Lanier was named the CAA Co-Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Lanier helped the Phoenix to a pair of four-set road victories over Northeastern this past weekend, improving Elon's CAA record to 5-3. The Chapel Hill native totaled 29 kills, 15 digs, three service aces and four blocks across eight sets. She averaged 3.63 kills and 4.25 points per set while hitting .345 for the weekend.
The outside hitter recorded 12 kills and seven digs in Friday's victory before delivering a season-high 17 kills, one shy of her career high, on a .481 hitting percentage in Saturday's win. She also added eight digs and two service aces in the series finale.
Lanier shared the league's weekly Offensive Player of the Week honor with Tyne Ross of North Carolina A&T. The recognition marks the first CAA weekly honor of Lanier's career.
Elon returns to Schar Center this weekend, Oct. 16-17, to host William & Mary for a pair of CAA matches.
