WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Elon University women's golf team climbed four spots on the leaderboard after carding an even-par 288 in round two of the Advance Golf Partner Collegiate.

The Phoenix is now tied with UNCG for sixth place with a 36-hole total of 591 (+15), while Virginia Tech continues to lead the field with a 17-under-par 559.

HIGHLIGHTS  

• Kelly Zhao shot another round of 71 (-1), carding two birdies and only one bogey. She is currently tied for fourth place.
• Emma Hansen moved up 21 spots on the individual leaderboard after carding a 1-under par 71. She recorded a team-high six birdies on the day to tie for 21st place.
• Garland Gould made the biggest jump for the team, climbing 36 spots on the leaderboard after shooting a 71 (-1) with five birdies in round two, moving into a tie for 33rd place.
• Ashley Lafontaine is tied for 50th place with a 36-hole total of 152 (+8) after carding a 3-over par 75 in round two.
• Competing as an individual, Andrea Asmundsdottir is tied for 83rd place with rounds of 78 and 84.
• Annie Wu carded an 82 (+10) in round two and is tied for 86th place. 

UP NEXT 

• The tournament's final round begins tomorrow with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m.
