- Lila Ceribelli became the sixth different Phoenix player to score a goal on a pass from Kailey McKenna and Vandiver then got her hat trick woman up on Gilner's second assist of the quarter. Campbell did score late to make it 8-2 at the half.
- Campbell's offense came alive in the second half and the Camels outscored the Phoenix 4-2 in the third quarter. Austin posted her second goal and freshman Arianna Kouchalakos scored the first of her career on a pass from Danielle Swietoniowski, the reigning CAA Freshman of the Week, that kept Campbell at bay. Elon led 10-6 going into the fourth.
