Box Score ELON, N.C. – The Elon University men's tennis team secured a 4-0 victory Thursday evening over the College of Charleston in their last regular season match. After clinching the doubles point,  the Phoenix were able to secure the victor in singles thanks to Veljko Krstic, Rafael Ymer and Juan Sengariz.

Doubles Play
Elon fought hard to secure the doubles point with a strong performance from Veljko Krstic and Oskar Antinheimo on court one. The duo took control early and powered through for a convincing win, setting the tone for the Phoenix. 

With the match tied after a court three loss, all eyes turned to court two. In a tense back-and-forth battle, Jack Curtis and Rafael Ymer edged out a tight tiebreak to clinch the doubles point. The gritty effort gave the Phoenix early momentum heading into singles play.

Singles Success
Elon then turned in a dominant showing in singles play to secure to secure the win over the Cougars. Veljko Krstic set the tone on Court 1 with a convincing 6-3, 6-3 win, while Rafael Ymer followed suit at the No. 2 position, cruising past his opponent 6-3, 6-1. Juan Sengariz added to the momentum with a straight-set victory on Court 6, winning 6-3, 6-3. Although three matches went unfinished, the Phoenix were in control in two of them—Oskar Antinheimo led 7-6(4), 0-0 at No. 3, and Charles Pilet held a set lead at No. 5. Jack Curtis split sets on Court 4 before his match was halted. Elon's singles lineup showcased depth and poise, delivering critical points in a well-rounded team effort.
