Richmond, Va.– Four members of the Elon University men's tennis team earned All-CAA honors, as the conference announced its postseason awards on Friday afternoon. Veljko Krstic and Rafael Ymer were named to the All- CAA First Team for Singles, while Jack Curtis earned a spot on the All- CAA Third Team. In doubles, Krstic and Oskar Antinhiemo along with the pairing of Curtis and Ymer, were each named to the All-CAA Second Team for Doubles.
Veljko Krstic - First Team All-CAA Singles, Second Team All-CAA Doubles
Krstic delivered a 10-6 record in singles play, competing at No. 1 for the Phoenix and securing key wins throughout the season. His performance earned him a spot among the CAA's elite singles players for the second straight year.
In singles, Krstic boasted a seven-match winning streak before an unfinished match against UNCW in the CAA Championship. In the first conference match of the season, Krstic secured early singles momentum for the Phoenix, going 7-6 (0), 6-1 against Campbell's Thomas Drapeau.
In doubles, alongside partner Oskar Antinheimo, Krstic posted a 7-6 mark. The pair developed into a competitive duo, contributing to Elon's success in doubles matchups, which was displayed in the duo's 7-5 win against College of Charleston's Mattia Bernardi and Eddie Vo in the last conference match of the regular season.
Jack Curtis - Third Team All-CAA Singles, Second Team All-CAA Doubles
Curtis posted a strong 10-5 singles record, consistently providing key victories for the Phoenix. As a sophomore, his consistent play and competitive edge earned him a spot among the conference's top singles players.
In doubles, Curtis compiled a 10-6 overall record, highlighted by a stellar 10-4 mark alongside partner Rafael Ymer. The duo emerged as one of the most reliable and dynamic pairings in the CAA, playing a pivotal role in Elon's doubles success this season.
In a duo's first match together, the team secured a 6-4 victory over Tal Goodman and Parashar Bharadwaj of Penn, marking the first of many successes for the pair. They then went on to further establish their doubles dominance, displaying their skills in a 7-5 win against Adi Dagan and Aleksander Hudjec at Campbell, clinching the doubles point for the Phoenix.
Rafael Ymer - First Team All-CAA Singles, Second Team All-CAA Doubles
In his freshman campaign, Ymer led the Phoenix with a team-best 11-6 singles record, including an impressive 11-5 mark at the No. 2 spot, where he consistently delivered crucial wins against top competition across the conference.
In doubles play, Ymer teamed up with Jack Curtis to post a 10-4 record at the No. 2 spot, earning the duo All-CAA Second Team recognition for their steady performance and chemistry on court.
Oskar Antinhiemo - Second Team All-CAA Doubles
Antinheimo partnered with Veljko Krstic at the No. 1 doubles spot, where the pair posted a 7-6 record against top-tier competition. Their consistency and teamwork helped set the tone for Elon's doubles success this spring. In the duo's last conference match of the regular season, the two went 7-5 against College of Charleston's Mattia Bernardi and Eddie Vo.
