ELON, N.C. – The Elon University cross country teams and second-year head coach Mark Rinker announced the Phoenix's 2025 fall campaign on Friday morning, July 11. The slate will feature four regular season meets including one meet at the program's home course at Elon University.

The season kicks off on Aug. 29 under the Friday night lights with the Phoenix's only home meet of the year — the annual Elon Opener — held at the Elon cross country course.

Elon will next compete at the adidas XC Challenge on Sept. 19 at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. After a week off, the Phoenix travels to Bethlehem, Pa., to race in the prestigious Paul Short Run on Oct. 3, hosted by Lehigh University.

The regular season concludes at the Panorama Farms Invitational on Oct. 17, hosted by the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va.
