ELON – Elon University women's basketball has announced its nonconference schedule for the 2025-26 season, a 12-game slate featuring five regular-season home games, five road contests and a two-game appearance at the Paradise Jam in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The Phoenix will take the court for the first time on Oct. 28, hosting Winston-Salem State in an exhibition at Schar Center. The regular season tips off on the road at ETSU on Nov. 3, followed by a trip to Chapel Hill to face North Carolina on Nov. 6. That contest marks a return to Chapel Hill for Elon head coach
Charlotte Smith – the most decorated player in North Carolina women's basketball history – who enters her 15th season at the Phoenix's helm.
Elon's regular season home opener is set for Nov. 10 against Presbyterian, followed by a Nov. 15 matchup with Howard. The Maroon and Gold then travel to Georgetown on Nov. 24 before heading to the
Caribbean to compete in the Paradise Jam, held on the campus of the University of the Virgin Islands. Elon will open against Tulane on Nov. 27 and face either North Dakota or Boise State the following day.
The month of December begins with a road trip to East Carolina on Dec. 7. Elon will then host Longwood on Dec. 14 before traveling to UNCG on Dec. 17. The Phoenix wrap up nonconference play with back-to-back home games against Norfolk State (Dec. 21) and N.C. Wesleyan (Dec. 30).
