ELON – The Elon University men's tennis team finished its first fall tournament Sunday, winning four matches to close out the Elon Invitational at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
Oskar Antinheimo and
Veljko Krstic teamed up for a 6-4 victory in doubles against Charlotte's Mortiz Muenster and Massimo Pizzigoni. Antinheimo then added a victory later in singles against teammate
Charles Pilet, winning 6-7 (4), 6-1, 10-8. Antinheimo finished the event with a team-high five victories across doubles and singles.
Jack Curtis delivered his third singles victory of the weekend, winning via a retirement in the second set. Freshman
Sibby Rodi posted his third singles win of the weekend, defeating South Carolina State's Bastian Zamora 6-1, 6-0.
In total, Elon posted 15 singles victories and three doubles wins over the weekend.

Elon heads to Wilmington next weekend to compete at the Porter's Neck Invitational. UNCW will host the event from Sept. 19-21.
